Delicious news, friends... I can print minis!
about 1 month ago – Sat, Aug 10, 2024 at 05:26:16 PM

Hey all!

As we're having a ball going through the rules for the games and tightening things up, I've also been playing with my 3d printers to create terrain and minis for the games. And it just so happens that I've found a couple of 3d modelers who have some pretty excellent licenses for their stuff, allowing me to print them up.

I'm doing a test run for the minis now to see how they look, but since Resin printing takes like... 50 minutes... I should have an example for you as soon as tomorrow.

The only drawback is that I can't sell the STLs for it, since it's not my IP/property. But once I'm done testing these bubbas out, I'll share a link to their Patreon/MMF pages so you can get them yourself.

For printing, I can probably get some covered here at my store. Resin printing is pretty quick. I just gotta figure out a nifty way to box 'em all.

Anywho, I thought y'all might like to hear that, since that was the #1 request that we had a while back.

Talk to you soon!

Final Early Rules Fix Notes due today! Also... KAAAIJUUUU!
about 2 months ago – Wed, Aug 07, 2024 at 09:36:42 AM

Hey all!

Hope you're having an awesome hump day so far. I'm putting out the final call for any fixes you feel the latest version of the rules needs so I can release the semi-final playtest/print-and-play version of Steel Psalm tomorrow. So, if you haven't already hopped over to the Discord, do so now.

Once that's released, I'll start in on MekBorg, which is mostly already formatted.

Also, I'll be working on Scenarios and Monsters for Steel Psalm and MekBorg. Since we're dealing with MEKs here, I feel it's only appropriate to have KAIJU as the monster that will fight against the MEKs when they're not fighting other MEKs.

Kitbash Contest #2: MONSTERS

Just as before, we will do a kitbash contest for monsters. These critters will be due by the end of the month, August 31st, 2024. Make whatever monsters you like! All of the final images will make it into our books, and I'll start out the creatures, too. The more you make, the more I add!

Here's the Discord: https://discord.gg/gYrEN95SeE

And good luck!

Latest Update Released... Monsters and Scenarios Coming Soon!
about 2 months ago – Mon, Aug 05, 2024 at 11:10:26 AM

Hey everyone!

The most recent version has been released over on Backerkit. To get either version, make sure you have a Backerkit account and that you're registered. You'll be able to then download it from your download files.

A huge thanks to all the folks over in the DMDave Discord who helped tighten up the playtest rules for Forbidden Psalm.

Once this most recent version is tightened up, I'll add in a few more details, notably the Scenarios and the NPC/Monsters section and move on to MEKBORG.

If you have any questions or nitpicks, don't hesitate to drop by our Discord.

Backerkit troubles? No worries, we can help.
about 2 months ago – Mon, Jul 29, 2024 at 09:45:51 AM

Hey all,

I saw that some of you had trouble getting the early version of Steel Psalm up and running. You will need to access it through Backerkit. You should have received an email with instructions how to set it up (do a search for Backerkit in your email).

If that doesn't work, we can do a manual search for you and get it resent. Just message [email protected] and Bree will get you on the right path.

We've already got a pretty good discussion going for the project on Discord, too, so be sure to check it out.

And to all of you who've offered up awesome feedback so far, thanks! I'm going to give you all credit on the final project.

Hey all,

Sorry for the mess. The first one I sent out cut out 14/15 pages. It should be fixed now with the latest distribution.

My bad!
